The Retention Invention app for iPhone and iPad

The Retention Invention is a vocabulary learning game app that contains over 4000 vocabulary and grammar examples for players in grade levels Pre-K through High School. 3D game design inspires active, engaged vocabulary learning in an enjoyable and competitive format. Individual players can try to beat their own best time in solving the questions, or up to 4 players of different grade levels on one playing field can compete against each other, making it ideal for families with children in different grade levels. Each game is comprised of 20 vocabulary questions. As each question is correctly answered it is removed from the cycle, leaving only the incorrectly answered questions to continue cycling through, until every question has been correctly answered. To help players understand how words are pronounced, each word is clearly enunciated as it appears in the game. If a player wishes to study the words before playing, there is a pre-game practice section that provides the definition of each word, along with an example of proper word usage in a sentence. In addition to vocabulary, there are also grammar and spelling questions in each game that appear when a player lands on a question mark card. The first player to answer all questions correctly will cause the game board to light up and sound off!
